My computer is running Windows 7 64bit, with an Intel I7 processor and 16GB of ram. But it is kind of inconvenient to have to open CS6 to make minor spot corrections and then return to LR. I never had issues with the spot healing brush in LR4, so this came with the new version.įWIW - I can open PS CS6, clone and heal all day long on large files with many layers and have no issues. Sometimes after using it for a while, it's best to just close and reopen LR5, at which point it runs normally again. Once I've used the healing/clone tool, LR5 seems to run a bit slower, and the longer I use it, the slower it gets. Recently, Lightroom Classic on a Windows 10 PC is only showing the area to be healed or cloned. ![]() ![]() Thanks to Lightroom CC, I can shoot beautiful raw photos (in HDR), easily. As it is right now, I don't bother even trying the healing/clone tool as it is virtually useless to me as is. Normal operation of the Spot Healing brush shows both the area to be healed or cloned and the source area for the information to use to heal or clone the selection. This may be my first product review, but I am very eager to share my experience. It almost seems like my computer can't handle the processing requirements - yet all of the other tools run fast and fine. It's very "jumpy", making it very hard to position and move. However, when I try to use the spot healing/clone tool, it seems to momentarily freeze, then move, then freeze again. ![]() I'm having an issue with the Healing/Clone brush in Light Room 5 (not LR5.2RC) that I'm hoping someone can help me with.įirst of all, the rest of LR runs perfectly fine for the most part.
